200µm PDMS Membrane Sheets

Transparent PDMS membrane sheets are available 250 x 250mm square.

Thicknesses available are 20µm, 50µm, 100µm, 200µm, 300µm, 400µm, 500µm, 1000µm, 1500µm, 2000µm and 3000µm

These membranes are highly elastic, with a low modulus, high specific resistivity and high dielectric strength. They are chemically inert and resistant to oxygen, ozone and ultraviolet (UV) radiation whilst being highly permeable to gas and water vapour.

PDMS membrane sheet performs at temperatures of -45°C to +200°C and are an ideal medium in applications such as actuator technology, generator technology or sensor technology. This film can also be used in food packaging, technical textiles and multiple laboratory or industrial applications.

The sheets are properly post-cured to comply with the requirements of FDA, BfR and EU 1935/2004 food contact regulations. Approved to WRAS for use with potable water at temperatures up to 85°C. These products meet the flammability requirement of FAR 25/ JAR 25/ CS 25 Appending F, Part 1, (a)(1)(iv) and (a)(1)(v) horizontal flammability tests and Automotive standard Part 571FMVSS302.
